
The Shrine of Our Lady of the Highways
stands as a monument to Mother Mary's guidance and love, and
the faith of the area's youth. The Our Lady of the Highways
Ministry helps spread that word beyond the boundaries
of the Shrine, inviting people from across the land to share
in the message of the Blessed Virgin.
The Ministry will hold its fourth conference
at the Knights of Columbus Hall in
Raymond, Illinois on Saturday, April
5, 2008. Speakers will include Patty Schneier, a frequent
guest on Catholic Radio and Catholic Answers Live, and Father
Wade Menezes, C.P.M. of the Fathers of Mercy.
The conference will begin at 9:00 AM with registration and breakfast
beginning at 7:30. Admission including breakfast and lunch for
adults is $7.50; childrens admittance is $5.00.
Clergy and the religious are admitted free. Free will offerings
will be accepted to offset the speakers' expenses.

Patty Schneier
Patty Schneier is
a housewife and mother of three from the Archdiocese
of St. Louis. For the past three years, Patty has been
speaking at parishes and Catholic Conferences across
the United States, sharing her personal testimony: "Prove
It, God!. . . And He Did." Using song, scripture,
and writings from her journal, Patty shares the story
of her challenge to God and His daily response. The
results were life changing! Patty has been a guest on
various Catholic Radio shows, including Covenant Network,
Ave Maria Radio and Catholic Answers Live. She has been
featured in Family Foundations Magazine, and her work
is available through One More Soul. Ms. Schneier will give three talks at the conference: Prove it God and He Did, Prayer: God I Really Don't Have Time for This and Spread the Good News.

Fr.
Wade Menezes, C.P.M.
Fr.
Menezes joined the Fathers of Mercy in 1993 as a Novice
and was ordained a priest in 2000. Upon completing his
Novitiate, Fr. Wade received his B.A. degree in Catholic-Thomistic
Thought from the Oratory of St. Philip Neri and his dual
M.Div.-M.A. degrees in Theology from Holy Apostles Seminary
in Cromwell, Connecticut. Fr. Wade has been a contributing
writer for many Catholic publications including The National
Catholic Register, Our Sunday Visitor, and Catholic Faith
and Family. Fr. Wade has also appeared as a guest on several
episodes of EWTN’s "Mother Angelica Live"
during which he discussed such topics as the sanctification
of marriage and family life and the liturgical seasons
of Advent and Lent. He currently serves as the Vocation
Director of the Fathers of Mercy. Fr. Menezes will give two talks at this year’s
conference: Let Your "Yes" Mean "Yes" to God and The
Living, Teaching Authority of the Catholic Church. |
